Bronson Orthopedic Trauma, Foot & Ankle Specialists is seeking a dynamic Advanced Practice Provider (PA or FNP) to join their practice in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This position will primarily support the orthopedic trauma service at Bronson Methodist Hospital, the only Level I Trauma Center in Southwest Michigan.
The APP will provide comprehensive care to orthopedic trauma and foot/ankle patients in both the outpatient clinic and surgical settings. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients independently and collaboratively with physicians, assisting in the operating room, and coordinating treatment plans across the continuum of care.

While prior orthopedic or surgical experience is preferred, motivated candidates with a strong interest in musculoskeletal medicine are encouraged to apply.
The Practice- Three physicians and four Advanced Practice Providers
- Two fellowship-trained orthopedic traumatologists specializing in:
- Polytrauma
- Fractures, including complex fractures
- Malunions and nonunions
- One fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with expertise in both elective foot and ankle reconstruction and orthopedic trauma
- Close collaboration with Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, and hospital-based teams to provide coordinated care for patients with acute musculoskeletal injuries
- Provides full continuum of quality care, from routine testing and diagnostics on-site to the most progressive medical and surgical treatments.
Bronson offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient orthopedic services across nearly every subspecialty, including: orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, foot & ankle surgery, hand & elbow surgery, spine and scoliosis, and total joint replacement. As a regional referral center and Level I Trauma Center, Bronson provides APPs with the opportunity to care for a diverse and complex patient population while working alongside highly skilled orthopedic specialists.

- Master's degree (MSN or MS in Nursing) and 2 years of recent clinical experience related to area of practice required
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan.
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse in specialty area of practice. Must maintain all requirements for medical staff privileges.
- Must be able to operate and perform basic computer programs associated with documentation and record keeping in the department
