Job Description
Automotive Quality/Reliability Engineer
Implement commodity‑specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery.
- Lead cross‑functional decisions with Client & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues.
- Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers.
- Principal for on‑site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations.
- Lead adherence to standards (i.e. Q1).
- Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites.
- Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP).
- Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality.

- 5+ years’ experience in one or more of the following manufacturing processes:
Casting, Machining, Forging, Stamping, Welding, Plastic/Rubber Molding, Brazing, Sintering, Automated/Manual Assembly Processes, Controls Automation programming, Paint, Chroming, SMC.
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree
