Fuel System Application Manager

Ford Motor Company is seeking an experienced manager to oversee the fuel system engineering team responsible for the design and release of fuel tanks, fuel pumps, delivery systems, refilling systems, SCR systems, evaporative emissions systems, sensors, and fuel indication components.

• Oversee fuel systems for all Ford vehicles globally.
• Ensure designs meet design rules, pass DV requirements, comply with regulations, and are manufacturable at volume.
• Lead CCRG discussions and durability failure discussions.
• Manage WERS releases.
• Guide 8D resolution of issues.
• Coordinate sourcing actions and TVM actions to resolve OPD and quality issues.
• Interact with the Ford supply base and vehicle teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Seasoned professional with strong knowledge of the Ford D&R process.
• Strong knowledge of Fuel Systems.
• Strong knowledge of Engineering Excellence and Tech Club process.
• Experience in fuel system D&R and core.
• History of developing a strong team.
• Strong interpersonal skills for problem solving.
• Strong presentation skills for management presentations.
• Ability to guide team in evening, weekend, and holiday high‑priority situations.
