Hours & Pay- Pay Rate: $46.06 per hour
- Schedule: Hybrid - In‑office Monday through Thursday, with Friday onsite as needed

What You’ll Do- Lead development of new trailer tow hardware, software, and systems, including packaging into the vehicle environment
- Conduct design reviews with internal teams, suppliers, and cross‑functional stakeholders
- Create and review quality documentation and ensure compliance with FMVSS and other regulatory requirements
- Develop and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP) across bench, HIL, and vehicle testing, tracking status via FEDE and JIRA
- Manage parts release processes in WERS and support programs through launch by leading issue resolution
- Collaborate with IVI, body exterior, and Vehicle Operations teams to ensure assembly and process requirements are met
- Travel to supplier facilities and assembly plants as needed to support design reviews, launches, APQP, and PPAP approvals
- Support warranty analysis and quality improvement initiatives by reviewing parts, tracking data, and presenting findings to management
- Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and vehicle network software for design, validation, and analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required;
Master’s preferred - Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive electrical systems design, hardware, software, and systems testing
- Experience with vehicle network tools, such as CANalyzer
- Strong understanding of product design, design release processes, process validation, and embedded systems integration
- Experience with trailer tow control development and testing is a plus
- Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills
