- Recruit, select, and grow a team to drive this automation transformation
- Grow a collection of proven, industrialized automation solutions supporting both greenfield and brownfield scenarios
- Engineer, plan, and implement automation efficiency projects – coordinating amongst Plant Operations, Research & Development, Information Technology, solution providers, Flow Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and others to ensure appropriate solutions within budget and on schedule
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a combination of equivalent and experience
- Proven leadership behaviors – specifically in areas of communication and team building
- Must be comfortable in industrial manufacturing settings with ability to travel
- Experience benchmarking in the arena of Industrial Material Handling solutions will be a plus
- Experience with manufacturing or handling automation. Even better if that experience involves AGV, AMR, ASRS, V‑SLAM navigation, vehicle traffic management systems
- Related Engineering or Technical degree

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location will be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
