Job Summary:

Our client in Dearborn, MI is looking for a Quality / Reliability Eng General. This is a contract position.

• Implement commodity‑specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle deliver.
• Lead cross‑functional decisions with Our Client & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues.
• Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers.
• Principal for on‑site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations.
• Lead adherence to Our Client's standards (i.e.Q1).
• Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites.
• Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP).
• Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality.
• Implement commodity‑specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery.
• Lead on‑site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations.

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering, or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude.
