Within our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. That means we’re continually seeking diligent, determined performers who think outside the box to help us find better and more efficient ways to manufacture our vehicles

You'll have...

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of equivalent experience and education
• 3+ years' Automotive Manufacturing Engineering experience
• 3+ years' experience w/tooling, processes, and facilities
• 3+ years' CAD experience

Even better, you may have..

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Solid understanding of statistics (control charts, data collecting, etc.)
• Knowledge of the electrical systems in a vehicle
• Experience with electrical connectors and wire routing
• Knowledge in one or more of the following Ford software systems: AVBOM, WERS, GSPAS/APT, Teamcenter, AIM, CPARS
• Experience in one or more of the following:
  Interior, Exterior, Chassis, Powertrain, Electrical, Water test, End of Line
• Error proofing experience
• Demonstrated product launch experience and issue resolution capability.
• Strong Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with cross functional teams to develop consensus.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, including CAD design and tooling design.
• Previous project management experience.
• Prototype design and development experience.
• Experience working with Tier 1
  
  OEM Suppliers and partners
• Manufacturing experience in general or final assembly

This position is a salary grade 1.
