Facility Electrical Engineer responsible for electrical design for various facility types within Ford Motor Company portfolio of buildings.

This engineering position is responsible for the electrical engineering design for various facility types within Ford Motor Company portfolio of buildings.  The individual is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) as relates to building codes, regulatory requirements, modularization, commodity strategies, technology advances and sustainable designs for Ford Motor Company.  Candidate must have good communication skills for interactions with internal clients, architectural and engineering firms, contractors and building officials to develop and successfully meet the requirements of a project.

Qualifications You'll have...Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in an Engineering Discipline from an ABET accredited university.

Knowledge and experience in all engineering aspects of buildings and facilities.

AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks experience.

Even better, you may have...Professional Engineer (PE) - Registered or on path to registration preferred.

Strong record of technical innovation/contribution/leadership.

Evidence of continuous growth in technical capabilities and expertise.

Independent worker and capable of delivering multiple project commitments concurrently.

Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time. This position is a salary grade 5 through 8 and ranges from $65,100 - $166,200.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
