You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and  this position...GME (Global Manufacturing Engineer) is a cross-functional team having the primary responsibility to plan for and implement the launch of new vehicle programs at powertrain component plants.

The Manufacturing Engineer candidate will be a part of this team and be responsible for delivery of projects supporting new programs, as described in additional detail below.

This individual will be an integral part of installing a new machining line at our Sharonville Transmission Plant (OH). This will require significant travel starting middle of 2027 and go well into 2028.Qualifications You'll have...Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical preferred)3+ years experience in a Manufacturing Engineering environment, preferably Automotive Manufacturing Ability to support launch programs while traveling

Strong Project Management skills and result-oriented mindset

Strong computer skills (Excel, Power Point, etc.)3D CAD review abilities (Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, CATIA, or equivalent)
Understanding of PFMEA and failure mode avoidance principles

Strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills

Ability to operate in stressful situations within timing constraints

Ability to work with minimal direct supervision

Ability to travel including extended travel to assembly and component plants in US, Canada, and/or Mexico required (largely Sharonville, OH)
Even better, you may have...Working knowledge of statistics (control charts, data collecting, GD&T etc.)Knowledge in the following Ford software systems: , WERS, GSPAS/APT, Teamcenter, E2KS, AIMAutomotive Manufacturing Engineering experience preferred but not mandatory

Experience w/automotive assembly or machining tooling, processes and facilities preferred but not mandatory
