As a Theme Development Engineer, you will work with many team members to make the design vision a reality.  From developing initial engineering concepts for a new design concept, guiding, and integrating multiple engineering and manufacturing inputs into the A surface, providing alternatives proposals that enable new ways of reconciling functional requirements and thematic intent, to building a suitable physical model that makes the concept and reality.

Qualifications You'll have...Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Equivalent3+ years of proven experience in complete vehicle layout/package, including Body and Trim

Experience with Catia V5 or 3

DXEven better, you'll have...5+ years of proven experience in complete vehicle layout/package, including Body and Trim Strong familiarity with legislative requirements affecting the Design Feasibility process.

Demonstrated experience in leading and presenting to decision making forums.

Demonstrated understanding of feasibility tools and design studio feasibility progressions

• Generous vacation time, sick/personal time, and paid holidays, including between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.  Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
