Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site Mortgage Loan Officer position located in Troy, MI. The role focuses on loan origination, mortgage underwriting, exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultation – Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and provide personalized guidance throughout the loan application process.
  • Application Processing – Collect and review financial documents, such as tax returns, pay stubs, and bank statements, to evaluate loan eligibility and risk.
  • Product Knowledge – Stay updated on various loan products and programs (conventional, FHA, VA, etc.) to advise clients on the best options available.
  • Compliance – Ensure all loan applications and documentation adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Relationship Building – Cultivate strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to foster trust and confidence in our services.
  • Pipeline Management – Manage a pipeline of loan applications, provide regular updates to clients on loan status, and address any concerns or questions.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a Loan Officer and/or in the mortgage industry.
  • Expertise in mortgage lending and underwriting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze financial documents.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Knowledge of current mortgage regulations and best practices.
