Tax Associate

Overview

Join H&R Block as a Tax Associate and help clients file and optimize their taxes. You will receive training and support from an experienced team.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email)
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
• Grow your tax expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment
• Ability to work a minimum of 25-35 hours weekly throughout tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks
• Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
