Kona Medical Consulting is currently looking for a Behavior Technician in the Dearborn, MI area (in-home or a mutually agreed location).

The position will be under Pediatric Behaviour Solutions and is also open to practicum students.

We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and enthusiastic Behavior Therapist for an 8-year-old boy with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and anxiety. He has experienced school-related trauma impacting his self-esteem. Despite these challenges, he is bright, curious, and eager to learn, especially in science, social studies, Titanic, architecture, and design.

• Use positive reinforcement and praise-based strategies.
• Support emotional well-being and learning differences.
• Create engaging, low-pressure learning opportunities in reading, math, and writing.
• Help reignite confidence and a love of learning.
• Be a positive role model and nurturing presence.

All necessary materials and suggested topics of focus will be provided. You’ll be supported every step of the way.
