Pharmacy Technician - Contingent - Fairlane
Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician assists in the distribution and processing of prescriptions and the sale of over‑the‑counter medications, enters prescription data into a computer, performs billings and file maintenance, receives payments for prescriptions and other purchases, assists in stocking and storage of inventory, and interacts and communicates with the public. Reports to pharmacists.
Education/Experience
Required:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Minimum of six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Certifications/License
Required:
Valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
