PER DIEM OUTPATIENT SOCIAL WORKER
Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) is a growing, 144‑bed behavioral health facility that provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs for adolescents, adults, and older adults. The hospital performs behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day and offers programs for co‑occurring behavioral health and substance use issues. We are enhancing our outpatient program with group, family, and individual therapy.

Position SummaryThe Outpatient Social Worker performs social services functions, including assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs and enabling them to process through therapeutic treatment skills. Duties include basic consultation, teaching, specialized clinical social work services for patients/families, crisis intervention, short‑term and long‑term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Education: MSW only
License: LMSW vy or experienced LLMSW acceptable
Experience: 1–3 years in a psychiatric health care facility with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; strong clinical assessment skills required. Combination of education, licensure, experience, and/or student internship hours may be considered.
