Job Title: People Experience Specialist Position Summary
The People Experience Specialist plays a key role in creating a positive and engaging workplace environment. This position focuses on enhancing the employee experience throughout the lifecycle—from onboarding to engagement and retention—while supporting HR operations and culture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee experience programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Develop and implement engagement activities, recognition programs, and culture‑building events.
- Support HR processes including benefits administration, policy communication, and compliance.
- Gather employee feedback through surveys and focus groups; analyze data to recommend improvements.
- Partner with managers and HR team to address employee concerns and promote a positive work environment.
- Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HR reporting.
- Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Responsible for processing Payroll.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or employee engagement roles.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passion for creating an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.
- Empathy and active listening.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
- Creative approach to employee engagement and experience design.
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
