Manufacturing IT Support Engineer –

• Support a multi‑shift operation in a manufacturing plant; work flexible hours (days, nights, weekends) on a rotating schedule.
• Provide technical support for I.T. applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end‑user productivity tools to plant business customers throughout the plant.
• Interface with Business IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts.
• Support Plant Floor Systems / PDO teams in resolving incidents; provide hands‑on assistance and collaborate with global teams (DBA, Server Operations, Ops Control, Network Operations) as needed.
• Focus on integration and long‑term maintenance of applications and hardware.
• Assist team lead with managing assignments and workload.
• Develop, maintain, and share accurate support documentation.
• Support local network equipment in a Cisco‑based environment.
• Support local servers across both physical and virtual environments in a Windows and Linux ecosystem.
• Support IIOT deployments and expansion efforts utilizing iOS and Android based equipment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Work effectively with diverse, cross‑functional teams under stressful circumstances.
• Effective communication with business users and IT professionals, including globally distributed teams; adapt communication for all levels of management and diverse audiences.
• Motivated self‑starter who can identify, investigate, and solve problems without supervision.
• Experience with Server administration (Windows 2016+ or Linux).
• Familiar with Cisco routers and switches (basic staging, troubleshooting, cable installation).
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory/ADFS.
• Experience with VMware (vSphere).
• Experience with Android and/or iOS devices, iPhones, iPads.
• Experience with Mac OS.
• Experience with Office
  365, SharePoint, Office automation, Windows PCs & printers.
• Plant floor automation experience (Control systems, PLCs) highly desired.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

• High School Diploma / GED (Onsite Role)
