IT Support Engineer

• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the Design Organization’s render farms, including software licensing, enhancements, and repairs.
• Work with clients to assess current and future state of their rendering and software needs, develop deployments, and run user acceptance tests.
• Collaborate with HPC (High‑Performance Computing) partners and the Design IT team on global deployments, upgrades, and integration.
• Assist daily with licensing, software, and render farm issues, documenting solutions in a knowledge base and keeping technical articles up to date.
• Test future hardware configurations and evaluate emerging technologies to support the Design workflow.
• Coordinate with vendors, CLS (Central License Server), and STAR (Software Tracking, Acquisition, and Replication) groups for licensing strategy, budgeting, and strategic planning.

• Fluent in HTML, JavaScript, Perl, and Python.
• Comprehensive understanding of Dell/Windows/Mac/Linux products, operating systems, and networking protocols.
• Current knowledge of the latest IT support hardware, software, and emerging technologies.
• Skilled at explaining technical complexities to non‑technical audiences and working in a fast‑moving environment.
• Experience with render farm support, server updates, and software installation helpful.

• App development experience beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Self‑starter with strong time management and multi‑tasking ability.
• Fast learner passionate about solving complex problems and maintaining accurate documentation.
