Schedule: Hybrid – Fridays Remote

We are seeking experienced Category Buyers to support purchasing and strategic sourcing operations in Dearborn, MI. We are hiring across Direct, Indirect, and Services Purchasing
, with Direct Purchasing experience being the highest priority
. Candidates will be aligned with purchasing categories based on their experience and skill sets.
- Develop and execute purchasing and sourcing strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and negotiations.
- Lead RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Analyze supplier pricing, market trends, and purchasing data.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Support supplier risk management and purchasing compliance.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, supplier management, manufacturing, or operations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, or project management preferred.
- Automotive or manufacturing purchasing experience is a plus.
