You’ll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You’ll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers  this position... As a Buyer at Ford Motor Company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation by leading commercial negotiations, managing critical supplier relationships, and optimizing costs across various commodities and services.

You will be an integral part of Ford's global Supply Chain organization, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality products and services that meet Ford's rigorous standards. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and exceptional negotiation skills who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Qualifications You'll have...Minimum

Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering Strong business and commercial acumen and excellent written and verbal abilities.

Strong leadership skills and ability to work in teams.

Strong interpersonal skills including relationship building and working cross functionally.

Strong analytical skills (sourcing evaluations, business case studies)
Strong negotiation skills (creating leverage in both offensive and defensive situations)
Cost analytics (understand commodity cost drivers, part cost breakdowns, Gap-to-OCE)
Strategic mindset and the ability to understand current challenges facing the automotive industry

Strong working knowledge of Purchasing policies, procedures, and systems

Fully competent with Microsoft Office Tools An ability to travel on company business as require
