This role will focus on three main areas:
Learning, Strategizing, Delivering. Each Supply Chain vulnerability has a unique business problem that requires thinking through “How do we best solve this to protect Ford?”. Each day is a new “case study” in Supply Chain continuity. Our team jointly works a strategy using modeling we’re creating through our internal feedback loops & learning. The result will be driving approval and launch of our resilience plans to protect Ford.

This role has regular exposure to senior leadership within Ford.  Candidates are expected to be comfortable presenting complex material in a concise, data-driven way and should have aspirations for upward mobility within Ford.
Qualifications You'll have...Bachelor's degree5+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or operations within automotive or complex manufacturing.
5+ years of demonstrated experience identifying supply chain risks and executing mitigation strategies (e.g., dual sourcing, supplier transitions, localization), ensuring supply chain continuity and resilience.
5+ years of experience with strong program management skills, including leading cross-functional initiatives, governance forums, and KPI/scorecard tracking.

Even better, you may have...Proven ability to build and present business cases, including financial analysis of Cap Ex, tooling, and risk trade-offs.

Experience collaborating with Engineering, Finance, and Supplier Quality/Technical teams to deliver sourcing outcomes.

Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with experience applying data analytics to solve complex supply chain challenges.

Experience leveraging AI tools or advanced analytics to enhance forecasting, risk identification, and operational efficiency.

Demonstrated complex problem-solving skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Effective communication skills with experience influencing senior leadership.

Experience managing supplier relationships, including negotiations, capacity planning, and delivery risk mitigation.

Ability to prioritize competing initiatives based on business impact, lead times, and production risk.

Experience working in fast-paced, global environments with shifting supply and demand dynamics.
