Essential Functions- Ensure health & safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely.
- Conduct daily site inspections and weekly RCRA inspections.
- Work with customers and vendors to implement improved waste‑management procedures.
- Manage recycling programs and the 90‑day accumulation building.
- Schedule all waste shipments, including all recycling materials.
- Track documents and report to the Environmental Department.
- Manage supplier subcontractors and negotiate disposal opportunities with supplier partners.
- Prepare monthly waste activity reports for clients as requested.
- Continuously grow in alignment with the company’s core values, competencies, and skills.
- Required:
High School or equivalent. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree (four‑year).
- Required:
1+ years in waste‑management industry. - Preferred: 5+ years in waste‑management industry.
- Required:
Experience balancing and delivering multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Sound communication, judgement, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to foster lasting relationships with clients and supplier partners.
- Comfortable building relationships in‑person and remotely.
- Ability to solve problems and provide solutions with limited direction.
- Ability to write business proposals; strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to develop knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
