- Lead automation and HIL testing efforts for ADAS feature testing, low‑level platform software and hardware on next‑generation automotive platforms.
- Develop test solutions to perform end‑to‑end feature validation, create test cases based on ASTQB test methodologies, automate developed test cases and execute them.
- Validate ADAS, diagnostic protocols, power‑management and core platform functionality and drive CI/CD integration to improve test velocity and quality.
- Perform system architecture validation tests on components, create test plans, execute tests, review test reports and ensure traceability to functional and performance requirements.
- Maintain test case traceability against system‑level feature requirements throughout the product development life cycle and align with SAFe processes and activities within functional areas such as System, Hardware and Safety.
- Integrate test executions into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab CI) and automated job scheduling systems, analyze failures, perform root‑cause investigations and coordinate fixes with software, hardware and supplier teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in test automation for embedded/automotive systems with demonstrable experience in ADAS or Chassis/PT domain or System HIL end‑to‑end feature testing.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with System HILs (dSPACE SCALEXIO, VEOS, Motion Desk, Model Desk or equivalent) and ECUTest (or similar test tools). Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Flex Ray, Ethernet, UDS, DoIP and diagnostic tooling.
- 5+ years of proficiency with Python scripting for test case execution, monitoring vehicle‑level data for KPI testing, and debugging complex hardware/software systems.
- 3+ years of experience conducting TDRs for new test solutions, leading test‑case reviews and test‑automation reviews.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and the ASPICE framework, including applying ASPICE process areas to software development life cycles.
- Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks, CI/CD integration and artifact management (JFrog, Nexus).
- Strong debugging and root‑cause analysis skills across hardware/software boundaries; familiarity with safety/functional‑safety concepts (ISO 26262).
