The facility maintains the clinical resources and established protocols necessary to support interventional cardiology services across inpatient and outpatient settings on an on-site basis. Clinical operations are structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians throughout each assigned coverage period.

Michigan offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of natural, cultural, and recreational attractions suited to varied interests. The state features notable natural landmarks, including Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Pictured Rocks, alongside cultural destinations such as The Henry Ford and Hitsville USA. Outdoor activities including hiking, ice climbing, and water sports are available throughout the state, and urban areas provide historic sites, science centers, and walkable downtown districts for clinicians seeking diverse experiences during time away from clinical responsibilities.

The Interventional Cardiology Nurse Practitioner will provide inpatient and outpatient coverage on a day shift basis, working Sunday through Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM on a schedule of two weeks per month, structured as seven days on followed by seven days off. Clinical responsibilities include the evaluation and management of interventional cardiology patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, with a caseload of 20-25 patients per day based on the inpatient census.

No overnight or on-call coverage is required as part of this assignment. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
