We take many types of patients including hemodynamically stable adults aged 18 or greater that require monitoring every four hours.
The unit can take pediatric patients aged 14 or greater into a private room with a guardian present. Common diagnoses include cardiac intervention, pre-CABG, arrhythmias, blood pressure abnormalities, congestive heart failure, substance abuse, and general medical patients.
