Job Description

Join Target as an On-Demand Guest Advocate (Cashier) for the General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, and Style teams.

The starting hourly rate is $16.00 USD per hour.

This role offers a personalized work schedule, allowing you to pick up shifts that fit your needs. You will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping with their needs.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
• Make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.

• Communicate effectively and have a welcoming attitude toward guests and other team members.
• ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately handle cash register operations and support cash office operations as needed.
• Flexibility when picking up shifts (e.g., nights, weekends, and holidays) to help meet store needs.
