Westborn Market started small in 1963, stocking only the best fruit and vegetables. Over the years we’ve expanded our aisles and locations to better take care of the community. As we grew, so did our family! We’re now a third-generation owned and operated business with four unique locations across Metro Detroit.

Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties related to the meat department and assists in fulfilling customer orders at the meat counter with professional and efficient service.

• Prepares, packages, and prices product as directed
• Assists customers with orders placed at meat counter
• Stocks and rotates merchandise as directed
• Monitors and maintain quality control standards
• Comfortable with using and handling knives, meat slicers, etc.
• Abides by food safety best practices
• Maintains a current knowledge of product
• Provides excellent customer service
• Abides by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy
• Maintains a clean and organized work area free of hazards
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• Demonstrates proper phone etiquette while taking orders/messages
• Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position
• Ability to provide assistance to deli and seafood departments as needed
