School Social Worker

We are looking for a talented School Social Worker for the school year.

• Full-time School Social Worker serving K-3 students split between two sites.
• Full-time School Social Worker serving K-5 students at one site.

• Provide social-emotional support and counseling to students in individual and group settings.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop intervention plans.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans to support student success.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for students experiencing trauma or significant life challenges.
• Connect students and families with community resources and social services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and IDEA guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and behavioral intervention planning.
• Educate and support teachers and staff on mental health awareness and classroom behavior management strategies.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred but not required.
• Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.

• Competitive Pay: We negotiate on your behalf to ensure you receive a pay package that fits your needs.
• Work-Life Balance: Contracts up to 40 hours per week; paid overtime at 1.5x for hours approved over 40.
