What you’ll be able to do:

Software Engineer – positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the Dearborn office. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Dearborn, MI. Designing, building, deploying and supporting cloud applications and is interested in working with a portfolio of strategic analytic solutions.

Collaborate with multiple organizations including Manufacturing Business Customers, Product Owners, Data Engineering, and IT to convert business goals into analytics solutions. Work in small, cross‑functional teams and embrace lean and agile practices, software best practices, software quality scanning, automated testing, and CI/CD. Develop and provide ongoing support/maintenance of the analytic solutions. Work with Architects on solutions and the architecture/design of the Product, provide feedback and recommendations on presented products.

Develop solutions and the resolution of technical issues. PRODUCT AND REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT:
Participate in and lead development of requirements, user story development, use cases, and test cases. Participate in stand‑up operations meetings. Support Integration Projects, Author process and design documents. Work with IT Operations (ITO), IT Engineering, Asset Planning Lifecycle Management (APLM) and GDIA Business Customers in the acquisition, provisioning, installation, configuration and testing of hardware and software. Work with GDIA business customers in migration from old tools and platforms to new and adoption of new tools.

Participate and lead incident, problem, change and service request related activities including root cause analysis (RCA) and proactive problem management or defect prevention activities.
