The Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Copilot Tech Lead provides technical leadership for the design, architecture, development, and delivery of enterprise business solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft's AI ecosystem. This role translates complex business needs into secure, scalable, supportable solutions—including AI-powered applications, conversational agents, workflow automation, and intelligent customer-service capabilities. The Tech Lead guides engineering teams and delivery partners, establishes technical standards, and works closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and operations teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

The successful candidate brings deep hands‑on engineering expertise and a track record of leading complex enterprise implementations, with sound judgment around responsible AI, platform governance, integration, performance, and long‑term maintainability. Lead technical discovery and solution design for Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and Azure‑based initiatives; convert functional and nonfunctional requirements into architecture, delivery plans, and implementation guidance.

• Set technical direction and engineering standards for the team, including design patterns, code quality, security, performance, reuse, testing, documentation, and supportability.
• Lead development and deployment of custom Copilots and AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and, where appropriate, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI services; apply prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), grounding, and evaluation practices.
• Design and deliver integrations between Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure services, enterprise applications, APIs, and knowledge repositories.
• Guide configuration and customization of Dynamics 365, including forms, views, dashboards, business process flows, navigation, web resources, ribbon customizations, and application solutions.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership for C# plug‑ins, custom workflows, JavaScript/Type Script extensions, XRM development, OData/Web API integrations, and custom APIs.
• Oversee delivery of model‑driven and canvas Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and CRM portal or related portal solutions.
• Ensure solutions follow enterprise security, privacy, data governance, accessibility, and responsible AI practices; identify and manage technical risks and dependencies.
• Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, estimates, testing strategy, release readiness, incident/problem resolution, and production support for critical solutions.
• Guide source control, branching, build and release automation, CI/CD, and application lifecycle management using Git/Git Hub and Azure Dev Ops or equivalent tooling. Mentor developers and technical team members, promote knowledge sharing, and coordinate effectively with architects, PDO teams, QA, product owners, vendors, and business stakeholders. Assess platform updates and emerging Microsoft AI capabilities; recommend improvements that enhance business value, reliability, user experience, and operational efficiency.
