Java Full-Stack Engineer

Dearborn, Michigan (Hybrid)

Role Overview This role involves the development and maintenance of the back-end and server-side components of applications, which include APIs, databases, and services with business logic. The position requires working with various languages and tools to create and maintain services, either on-premises or in the cloud. You will be expected to develop Java micro-services using Spring Boot, a React front end, upstream API integrations, and GCP infrastructure and databases.

Key Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their use cases and requirements.

Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.

Align with architecture guidelines for a unified and coherent approach to development.

Design, develop, and deliver new code using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.

Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages such as Java.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user interface elements and with cross-functional teams like product owners, designers, and architects.

Manage application deployment to the cloud.

Manage data storage and retrievals in applications by utilizing database technologies such as Oracle and MySQL.Support back-end infrastructure and deployment practices to improve application resiliency and reliability.

Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

A minimum of 8 years in IT, with at least 4 years in development. Must be proficient in two coding languages or have advanced proficiency in one.
