• Drawing up medications; calling in medications
• Application of sterile fields
• Applying and removing casts and splints
• Locate any necessary films, test results, and/or reports for upcoming appointments
• Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies for clinic, power up computers etc.
• Prepare charts for clinic and print out patient information as requested by the physician
• Schedule tests/procedures and surgeries and pre-cert as needed
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Work in Hartselle location with physician weekly
• Assist other physician team members as needed
• Fill out disability, return-to-work and insurance forms
• Friendly and professional patient communication
• Answering and returning patient phone calls
• Escorting patient to and from exam rooms
• Respond to and chart patient messages
• Communicate test results to patients

Must also possess:

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
• Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
• Independent and highly motivated
• Initiative and self-discipline

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully
• Frequently moving, pushing, pulling heavy patients and/or equipmentli>
• Constant standing and walking
• Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas
• Constantly work at a productive pace
• Must readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes
• Lifting/Carrying/Pushing/Pulling up to 50 lbs
