Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Morgan County Jail in Alabama.

This full-time position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule with every other weekend, giving you the opportunity to provide meaningful patient care in a structured, safe, and secure environment.

No hospital units. No mandatory floating. One facility. One team. What You'll DoProvide direct nursing care to patients within the correctional facility

Administer medications and treatments as ordered

Complete nursing assessments and monitor patients for changes in condition

Respond to urgent and emergent healthcare needs

Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to medical providers

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Assist with chronic and acute care needs

Promote continuity of care throughout the facility

Follow established clinical policies, procedures, and standards

Provide professional and compassionate care in a safe and secure environment Qualifications Current and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Alabama Current CPR certification

Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required

Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team Ability to remain calm and professional in urgent situations
