Position: Retail Parts ProStore 9120

Retail Parts Pro – Full‑time position requiring advanced automotive knowledge and sales expertise. The role supports advanced DIY functions, sourcing parts from special order, and providing customer support.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
  • Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives
  • Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
  • Key holder responsibilities: task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shootouts, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
  • Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
  • Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.

Essential

Job Skills
  • Working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability (engine, suspension, brakes, electronics, exhaust)
  • Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); build relationships with customers, peers, and management
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; write simple correspondence
  • Understand and execute instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Successfully complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment
  • Use basic math accurately
  • Use Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
Prior Experience

3‑5 years of automotive parts experience; proven sales ability with experience in customer transactions.

Education & Certifications
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • ASE certification preferred but not required
