Credit Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Credit Analyst to join our Credit and Collections team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and resolving customer accounts, handling collections, addressing billing discrepancies, and ensuring smooth communication across internal departments. The role involves a variety of tasks, including order releases, balancing accounts, addressing pricing discrepancies, managing payments, and maintaining customer relationships.

• Conduct collection calls, generate monthly account statements, follow up on unpaid invoices, and reduce delinquency for assigned accounts.
• Handle customer service issues, process refunds, account adjustments, and ensure accurate payment reconciliation.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and work with relevant departments (sales, accounting) to correct issues.
• Review and release orders as needed.
• Assist with customer payment application for payments without remittance information.
• Process customer payments and manage COD accounts.
• Set up new accounts, pull credit reports, and submit credit requests for approval.
• Ensure that builders approve purchase orders and invoices for timely payment.
• Track payments via customer websites and liaise with builders to obtain payment approvals.
• Handle missing invoices and reprint them for customers for multiple business units.
• Investigate missing deposits and work with accounting to ensure deposits are correctly applied.
• Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit analysis.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

This is a full-time position that requires overtime as business needs dictate.
