PositionJob title: Parts Coordinator
Base payBase pay range: $15.00/hr - $20.00/hr
Responsibilities- Provide an exceptional customer experience by proactively managing the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order.
- Verify the accuracy and quality of parts received in a timely manner according to the production schedule and vehicle needs.
- Execute the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
- Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
- Work with vendors to order and receive all parts indicated on repair orders, confirming quality, correctness and quantity.
- Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule.
- Enter all parts invoices into the Management Information System (MIS).
- Label and track all parts by the RO# and store them with the vehicle and/or scheduled repairs; communicate Parts Price Changes (PPI) to required team members.
- Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS and monitor performance of parts, materials and sublet vendors; reconcile daily vendor invoice history reports.
- Ensure invoices and credit memos are posted and filed/scanned promptly and that vendor invoices reflect negotiated discounts to maintain profit margins.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts a bonus)
- Customer service orientation with strong organizational ability; able to manage pressure and prioritize tasks; proactive problem solving
- I-CAR Registered (working toward Gold Class certification)
- Effective communication, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and multi-task under pressure
- Working knowledge of vehicle repair practices
- Management Information System:
Summit, Repair Centre - Working knowledge of Mitchell, Audatex
- Parts sourcing tools:
Car-part, Progi, APU, LKQ B2B - Problem-solving abilities and solid computer proficiency
- Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate with others
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
- Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, and handle tools
- Lift in excess of 50 lbs

Compensation DetailsCompensation: $15 - $20 / Hour
Supplemental Pay: Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
