Archer Western Construction‑Snell JV is currently seeking a Pipe Foreman for the Atlanta Region, GDOT I-285 / I-20 East Interchange Project, in Decatur, GA.
OverviewThe Pipe Foreman will supervise, coordinate, and schedule a crew of 3-15 construction employees daily; oversee pipe fitting operation in the assigned area.

Responsibilities- Supervise crews within specific areas or portions of the project.
- Schedule and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers while communicating with other trades.
- Read specifications and plans to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
- Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment using measuring and marking equipment.
- Record personnel, production, and operational data on specified forms or reports.
- Assist workers engaged in construction or extraction activities, using hand tools or other equipment.
- Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met.
- Adhere to safety protocols and work in a drug‑free environment.
- Train and supervise workers on company policies, safety practices, regulations, and procedures.
- 5 years construction foreman experience preferred.
- 5-8 years verifiable construction experience required.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities; experience managing crews and subcontractors preferred.
- Strong communication skills with crew members, project management, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ability to read and understand work plans effectively.
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds or ladders.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Must comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
- Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
- Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
