Digital Designer
Limited Term position at Georgia State University’s Perimeter College.
Perimeter College, founded in 1964, has served as a gateway to higher education for the Atlanta region for over 60 years. With five campuses and online offerings, it supports students with small classes and a focus on student success and innovative teaching.
We are seeking a dedicated Digital Designer to provide graphic and creative support to the Public Relations and Marketing Communications office. The role involves creating visual storytelling assets for digital and print platforms, ensuring brand consistency, and enhancing stakeholder engagement.

- Maintain the integrity of the university’s visual identity guidelines.
- Manage strategic design projects from concept to completion.
- Create visual assets for digital, print, and social media platforms.
- Stay current on design trends in digital and print media.
- Act as an expert on the use of Perimeter College logos and branding tools.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, photographers, illustrators, and editors.
- Work with web developers to design visual assets for webpages.
- Art‑direct photo and video shoots.
- Format and upload marketing slides to digital displays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong management and design competencies.
- Proficiency in design for digital and print media used in public relations and marketing communications.
- Knowledge of Mac OS and design programs:
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Media Encoder. - Experience with CRMs and CMSs preferred (Word Press, Salesforce).
- Effective oral and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to ideate at both conceptual and visual levels.
- Multitasking, training staff, supervising, and independent judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
