Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to support young learners in their formative years? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our Georgia Pre‑K program!

At Montessori Academy of Decatur, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging environment where young children can develop essential skills through play and structured learning. Our Georgia Pre‑K program aims to lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and success.

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age‑appropriate educational activities and lesson plans.
• Support individual and small group instruction to enhance students' learning experiences.
• Foster a positive and safe classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
• Monitor and document students' progress and communicate observations to the lead teacher.
• Perform daily classroom duties including setting up materials, organizing learning areas, and maintaining a clean environment.

• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education required.
• Experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and support a diverse group of children.
