Our technical teams collaborate closely with industry partners to deliver advanced solutions that drive rapid growth, support the energy transition, and meet sustainability goals. The portfolio includes industrial circuit breakers, low‑voltage systems, motor‑starting applications, and safety devices such as switches and relays. Our Power Protection unit supplies the world’s largest data‑center operators with advanced, energy‑efficient UPS solutions.
ABB Ability™ Energy Manager offers a scalable, easy‑to‑use platform that helps organizations save energy and reduce CO₂ emissions.
- Specialize in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical power systems—including UPS, PDU, STS, and related equipment.
- Ensure continuous, reliable operation of mission‑critical infrastructure for data centers, hospitals, telecommunications facilities, and other environments where power continuity matters.
- Perform service tasks, diagnose technical problems, and conduct analyses through remote or on‑site activities across service categories such as installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, upgrades, retrofits, end‑of‑life services, replacements, etc.
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing work according to orders and expectations. Build and maintain good relationships with customers, understand their needs, and identify new sales opportunities for internal communication.
- Coordinate, prepare, and ensure all materials, parts, and equipment are available and meet quality standards for service activities.
- Proactively identify potential equipment failures, request corrective actions, troubleshoot failures, and recommend preventive measures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 1+ years servicing critical power equipment, OR
- Associate’s degree in electrical technology with 3+ years servicing critical power equipment, OR
- High School Diploma/GED with equivalent 8+ years of work or military experience servicing critical power equipment.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Project management skills using MS Project or Excel.
- Ability to write detailed test plans and reports.
- Strong organization and deadline management for administrative duties.
- Team collaboration.
- Sense of urgency and ownership—in order to complete tasks.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Existing work authorization for employment in the US.
