Salary range: $48,381 - $77,894. Pay Grade: 15. Job Code: 51140. FLSA Status:
Nonexempt.

• Leads and coordinates daily work activities of assigned co‑workers, confers with the supervisor for direction, and monitors the status of work in progress.
• Reviews and processes land‑development plans, inspects detailed drawings, ensures compliance with environmental controls, storm‑water mitigation, and pollution‑prevention codes.
• Provides customer service, responds to citizen concerns, resolves inquiries, and advises staff on plan intake and permitting procedures.
• Processes a variety of documentation, prepares forms and reports, compiles data for reports, and maintains records.

Associate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required; two years of experience in civil engineering, site development or construction management; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license. Must possess and maintain Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission (GSWCC) Level 1 B Inspector Certification.
