Double Hung LLC is seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead the execution historic window restoration projects from kickoff through completion. This role requires hands‑on knowledge of construction methods, millwork, and custom fabrication, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills. The Project Manager will be accountable for coordinating teams, managing budgets and schedules, maintaining quality and compliance with preservation standards, and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and manage historic window restoration projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate with general contractors, clients, and internal teams to manage schedules, budgets, and contract deliverables.
- Lead on‑site teams and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with local, federal, and historic preservation regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits, assess work progress, and implement necessary adjustments.
- Manage documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and punch lists.
- Provide timely and professional updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Travel to project sites as needed—typically up to two weeks per month, depending on project location.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3‑5+ years of commercial project management experience in construction, historic preservation, or custom fabrication.
- Proven track record managing projects valued between $500k and $1M.
- Familiarity with commercial construction workflows and site management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong client‑facing communication and stakeholder management.
Preferred
- Experience managing federal or government restoration projects.
- Familiarity with preservation standards and compliance documentation.

Full‑Time – Monday through Friday. Frequent travel required (up to two weeks per month depending on project location).
Work LocationPrimary office in Greensboro, NC. Project travel required across regional and national sites.
