The CAD Engineer is responsible for programming equipment in order to efficiently increase and improve production of custom cabinetry to meet customers’ specific orders per business unit, including Retail, Builder, and Commercial accounts. CAD Engineers design, develop, test, and maintain tools and systems used for computer-aided design processes.
Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Responsible for producing detailed drawings ready for production approval and execution.
- Meet Key Performance Metrics and/or Productivity Goals as defined by the business.
- Strive to improve business performance. Constant product improvement.
- Ensure that all products produced meet Quality Standards.
- Work as a dedicated team member providing fast, flexible, and excellent service to our customers.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years’ previous Cabinet Vision experience is required.
- Experience in the cabinetry industry.
- Detail oriented with strong communication skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Cabinet Vision Designer/Engineer.
- Knowledge of the construction industry, engineering, math, and materials.
- Previous experience in the custom cabinetry industry.
