Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of OR experience for a 13-week assignment.

Job Details

• Work in the surgery department of a hospital setting,

• Day shift with 10-hour shifts scheduled in the morning,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Position is for a 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand,

• Minimum of 18 months of full-time OR nursing experience required,

• CVOR RNs need 18 months of recent CVOR experience within the last 3 years, with strong cardiac, vascular, and endovascular case experience,

Additional Information

• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered,

• Former staff must be separated from Emory and Houston facilities for at least 1 year, and 18 months if returning to the same facility,

• Time off requests must not exceed 5 days except during holidays, when only 3 days are allowed, and only one holiday request is permitted,

• Several consecutive days off around holidays will not be approved,
