Support the Recovery of Pets with Compassion and Skill
Are you passionate about animal care and eager to grow your skills in veterinary rehabilitation? We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to support therapists and veterinarians while contributing directly to the well-being of dogs and cats.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist veterinarians and therapists during exams and treatments, including laser therapy, acupuncture, and treadmill sessions.
Manage patient records and assist with treatment plans, including documenting exercises for clients.
Communicate with pet owners to gather patient histories and explain treatment programs.
Maintain equipment, prepare treatment areas, and ensure the facility is organized and welcoming.
Occasionally assist with diagnostics such as blood draws and radiographs under supervision.
Skills and QualificationsRequired Skills:
- At least two years of veterinary experience, including patient care and client communication.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with practice management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comfort working with animals of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Willingness to learn new therapies and rehabilitation techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Genuine compassion for animals and people.
- Dependable and committed to punctuality and attendance.
