The Maintenance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of hotel equipment and facilities. This role requires strong technical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and attention to detail to address maintenance needs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Additionally, the position demands physical stamina, effective time management, and a collaborative attitude to maintain a safe and well-kept environment for guests and staff.

• Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other hotel systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on guest rooms, common areas, and equipment such as refrigerators, ice machines, and exhaust fans.
• Repair minor carpentry, painting, and furniture issues to preserve property aesthetics and functionality.

• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, leaks, electrical issues, and maintenance requests promptly.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies like fire alarms, power failures, or mechanical breakdowns, ensuring guest safety.

• Lift and move objects over 50 lbs., stand, walk, climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
• Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines when handling tools, chemicals, and machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas, ensuring proper storage of tools and hazardous materials.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or related fields preferred.
• Trade licenses (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) are highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
