Do you love working with kids and have a passion for STEM? Code Ninjas Wildwood is looking for an energetic, engaging instructor to lead our CREATE JR program for children ages 5–7. This is a hands-on opportunity to help kids build foundational skills in coding, logic, math, and problem-solving—all in a fun, supportive environment.
No coding or STEM experience is required.

We seek passionate individuals who are passionate about technology, STEM, and working with kids. In this role, you will play a crucial part in achieving our shared goal of providing children with a fun and safe learning environment. As a Code Sensei at Code Ninjas Wildwood, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coaching and student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Teach and guide students using Code Ninjas’ CREATE JR curriculum
• Help Ninjas explore coding through activities like Code & Go Mouse, Scratch Jr, and unplugged logic games
• Foster a safe, upbeat, and inclusive learning environment
• Adapt instruction based on students’ developmental levels
• Communicate progress to parents at pick-up and through regular feedback
• Maintain a clean and organized dojo in line with brand standards
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
• Report daily to the Center Manager regarding class performance and dojo needs

  8–10 hours/week
• Schedule:
  
  Tuesdays & Thursdays (4:30 PM – 7:30 PM), Saturdays (9:30 AM – 11:30 AM)

Qualifications/Requirements

• 1–3 years experience working with children ages 5 and up (teaching, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
• Consistent availability during scheduled hours
• Strong communication skills and a love for teaching
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Quick learner comfortable with basic technology
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma preferred
• First Aid/CPR Certification preferred but not required
• Background check required
