What You’ll Do as the Senior Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

• Lead potable, storm, and wastewater infrastructure projects with confidence and clarity.
• Apply deep experience in civil engineering and project management with strong leadership and communication skills to ensure outstanding service to clients.
• Serve as the project engineer for a variety of water-related infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle: initiation, design, construction, and closeout.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Develop and manage proposals, plans, specifications, estimates, and grant documentation.
• Conduct on-site investigations and feasibility studies across multiple domains.
• Lead client relationships and participate in business development.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering preferred)
• Licensure: PE license in Illinois or ability to obtain within 1 year
• Experience:
  
  10+ years in U.S.
  
  -based civil engineering or governmental infrastructure work
• Location:
  
  Based in or willing to relocate to Decatur, IL (hybrid schedule available)
• Software:
  Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe and AutoCAD
• Client Engagement:
  Strong relationship-building and client-facing skills
