Credit Manager – Decatur, IL. This is an exempt level position. ADM has an opportunity for a credit professional to assume the role of Credit Manager. The selected candidate will continuously improve ADM’s ongoing business credit processes, manage day‑to‑day credit functions, and support credit systems and other special projects.

ADM’s Credit Manager will manage the accounts receivable of a select portfolio within North America, building collaborative relationships with the sales organization and its key customers. Focus on risk‑management, KPIs, and driving process improvements.

• Monitor and complete periodic credit reviews, including financial analysis and credit risk scoring.
• Manage credit reviews for customer onboarding process.
• Approve the use of specific payment terms to effectively manage portfolio DSO.
• Decision accountability regarding the extension of credit within the assigned authority framework.
• Collaborate with collection department to escape past‑due accounts to achieve KPIs.
• Participate in creation of credit & collection strategies to mitigate risk.
• Enforce order holds as required to manage exposure levels.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and senior management to support sales growth while mitigating credit risks.
• Anticipate and recognize internal and external factors that may impact performance in a dynamic market.
• Support credit systems, dashboards and other systems infrastructure; collaborate with credit leadership and global technology for improvements, UAT, cross‑training.
• Ad‑hoc projects requiring credit & AR perspective.

• BA/BS in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and database systems.
• Strong familiarity with reviewing large volumes of data and financial statements.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; think creatively toward solutions.
• Comfortable making quick, calculated decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across the organization and provide excellent leadership, operational, and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated to innovate with continuous‑improvement mindset; act as change agent focused on internal control and risk‑management.
• Attention to detail; meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication; cross‑train.

Base pay range: $73,800 – $135,000. Annual bonus and salaried incentive plan.
