Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist III - Floater at Decatur, IL! This is a 6-months contract role (with high possibility of extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Location: Decatur, IL 62526

Shift

Schedule:

Monday–Friday: Variable between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $28/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
• Verify patient identity and demographics, including patient initials and signature post-venipuncture to confirm proper labeling
• Maintain patient confidence by clearly explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Accurately complete all required documentation and records
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor
• Make decisions using established procedures and sound judgment
• Travel to multiple Patient Service Centers and In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice
• Provide staffing coverage as business needs dictate
• Training locations may vary based on trainer availability

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
